These terms apply to every delivery booked with VIPS Logistics. Please read them before you book.

1. About us

VIPS LOGISTICS LTD, Company No. 17501216, Gough Walk, London E14 6HN. Email: bacslogisticsltd@gmail.com. Phone: 07359 656805.

2. Quotes and prices

• We price each job by the hour or by the mile, based on distance, time, size and how often you send.
• Prices from the website's Price Calculator are your own estimate. Your price is only fixed when we confirm it to you.
• Your quote states whether VAT is included.
• Extra charges, such as for waiting time, extra drops or changes on the day, apply only if we agree them with you first.

3. Booking

Your booking is confirmed when we accept it by phone, email or message. Please check the details we send you and tell us straight away if anything is wrong.

4. Your responsibilities

• Give us accurate addresses, contact details, sizes, weights and contents.
• Pack and label goods properly so they can travel safely.
• Make sure someone is available at collection and delivery, or tell us a safe place.
• Tell us before booking about anything fragile, valuable or needing special handling.

5. Items we do not carry

We do not carry illegal items, dangerous or hazardous goods, weapons, explosives, live animals, cash, or jewellery and other high-value items, unless we agree otherwise in writing before collection. We may refuse or stop any item we think is unsafe or unlawful.

6. Collection and delivery

• We aim to meet every agreed time. Times are estimates, and we will keep you updated if something like traffic or weather causes a delay.
• If we cannot collect or deliver because nobody is available, the address is wrong or access is blocked, we will contact you. Extra time or a return trip may be charged.
• We may use trusted subcontracted drivers to carry out your delivery.

7. Loss or damage

• We take care of your goods from collection until delivery.
• Please report visible damage on delivery, and any other damage within 7 days. Report missing goods within 14 days of the planned delivery date.
• Our liability for loss or damage is limited to the lower of the value of the goods and the limit of our goods-in-transit insurance. We will tell you this limit on request, before you book.
• We are not liable for loss caused by poor packaging, inaccurate information from you, or events outside our control.
• We are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profit or business, for business customers.
• Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or your legal rights as a consumer.

8. Cancellations and changes

• You can cancel free of charge before a driver has set off for the collection.
• If you cancel after that, we may charge for the time and mileage already used.
• If you are a consumer booking online or by phone, you have 14 days to cancel. If you ask us to carry out the delivery within those 14 days, you will pay for any work already done, and you lose the right to cancel once the delivery is complete.

9. Payment

• Single jobs are paid as agreed when you book.
• Business accounts are invoiced on the payment terms we agree with you.
• For business customers, we may charge interest on late payments under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
